The NELA Music Awards Hall of Fame was created in 2015 with one thing in mind: history. The Northeast region of Louisiana has long been a hub of musical talent that, for many years, went unrecognized. The Hall of Fame is the solution to praising those who helped shaped our local culture.
Annually, a committee selects multiple artists to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Each inductee is honored at the year's awards program and their picture placed in a display in the Northeast Louisiana Delta African American Heritage Museum.
