The NELA Music Awards is proud to announce the co-hosts for the award show on

August 15 at the Monroe Civic Center.  Briana Calhoun, Chancie Neal, Mark Taylor, and Kix Brooks

will be the hosts for the evening.

Those performing are Mike McKenzie, Regina Rogers, Sanctuary Quartet, Jordan Sheppard and the Cypress Knees,

Big Po, Katie Knight, Zach Smith, Message from Mercury, Main Event, Red Flags,
Briana Calhoun, Kix Brooks, Chancie Neal, Mark Taylor and the TaylorMade Band.

The evening will begin at 6 pm. with an Art Reception hosted by the Northeast Louisiana Delta
African-American Heritage Museum, Richland Arts Council, and the City of Monroe. The works of
Frank Kelley, Jr; Daryl Triplett, and Pat Howard will be featured. Artist Gaye Auger-Laing from
Morehouse Parish will paint live during the award show, bridging music and visual arts in a dynamic
showcase of creativity. The B.B. King Exhibit, including the iconic guitar “Lucille,” will be displayed
during the event. This was made possible with a partnership with the B.B. King Museum and Delta
